Oaks Amusement Park - new rides

We scored unlimited rides bracelets today so dad said we could ride till we dropped.  Which we did, including two rides we were too scared to ride before today.  Check us out on the Screaming Eagle, dad wouldn't even go with us.

We're Tutor Doctors, too

Dad sometimes hires us to work at his company Tutor Doctor and we like it because it's doing fun stuff like marching in parades.  See how cool we are?   That's our friend Ciara and her mom.  

We love railroad tracks

From dad's place we can walk to railroad tracks and we just love playing on them.  

Backpack #1 Indian Mountain

For the first time in our lives we carried everything we needed to camp in the wild.  To be safe we brought Lilly and Maddie and their parents.  We watched the full moon rise, the sunset, the sunrise, threw many rocks and dust bombs, had a campfire and climbed a mountain.

Daddy sometimes forgets the key to our new apartment.  Good thing Koh and I are brave, agile and skinny so we can save the day.  

Happy July 4th!

Today we had our last ever party at our Parkhill home, and invited over our Parkhill pals. It was a fun day with a bald eagle circling above our bicycle parade, a hotdog BBQ, then a whole bunch of fireworks we got to light as well as watch. 

Sunday Parkways and circus tricks

We took dad on this 10 mile bike ride on the closed streets of north Portland today and got to do circus tricks at one of the parks.  Check us out.

Abe: I like baseball and I'm pretty good. Today I threw the ball at the dunk tank at the Rieke school carnival and dunked the teacher three times.

1st grade term projects done!

Koh: Did you know I'm an expert on fruit bats?

Abe: I learned a lot about bobcats for my project - do u have any question?

Play date with William

Abe: William is my best buddy and is my classmate, too.  We like hanging out and today we had a play date and Koh came too.  We played wii and ping pong then went on an outing thru the woods up to the schools and back to William's home all the time kicking two soccer balls.  

We want to do that again, dad, ok?

Summer of 2014 beach day #1

15 minutes from home, this beach is awesome dad!   Sunny Saturday and nobody else is here?!   Columbia River beach next to the airport.

Term paper due: Animal Study and impact on the local watershed

We don't always love these school projects, but we do them so we can get on to 2nd grade next year.  Plus dad sets us up with a fun workspace and certain rewards...

Portland Thorns

Koh: Not much I love more than soccer and tonight Mom took us and our buddy Mason to see the Portland Thorns. I do love soccer, but I also love all the treats at the games.

Abe and Mason were pretty sad when our team lost.

 

 

Crazy hair day is Monday

All week it's spirit week at school - look what happened to our hair.
