We love Easter!

We like everything about Easter.

Coloring eggs, finding treasures (we went on three Easter egg hunts!) eating those treasures meaning choloclate, family time including a BBQ and hot tub fun at Angela/Torrie's home.

We went to PDX Church where we learned about Jesus, ate a nice brunch and even played "Easter Rabbit" by hiding eggs for the little kids to find in the lawn.

Banana slices

Koh: I learned today to use this sharp knife to slice my own breakfast banana and didn't bleed!

Dad brought us some historic Thomas Jefferson seeds and we started our 2015 garden this year in all these little pots.

Then look at this magic in 10 days, how cool.  We already planted some outside they got so big.

Abe: I found this amazing worm today.  No really, not only was it HUGE but I think it escaped from a circus because it was both transparent and could do tricks: look at this one where it tied itself into a square knot.  Crazy stuff, I took it to mom but she didn't like it.

Koh: I won a trip to my school's Writer's Tea today because of my good story on scary desert animals.

I really liked going, especially for all the cupcakes and tea we got to eat and drink.  Mom and dad came and watched me tell my story.

Warm days, play days

February 60 degree dry days, let's go play, Dad! We'll do our homework, promise.  Koh's idea to learn to ride steps, so here we go for the first time ever.  Wow, that was fun, but a little scary at first.

Then check us out the next night with our glow-bees.

We're big-time hikers you know

Today Dad said we did our toughest hike ever: 6.5 miles, 1700' gain, 3.5 hours of waterfalls, and the largest rock pile we ever climbed up.

It was fun 'cause we walked on fluffy moss, threw lots of rocks and ate chocolate treats and root beer.

If I played a musical instrument...

Dad: "Guys, what musical instrument would you like to play?
Koh: Drums
Abe: (whispering to dad: "Do boys ever play the flute or only girls?" Dad confirmed boys play.). Flute is what I would play.

Tonight dad let us have four pies for dinner!
