Last day of 3rd grade

Koh: Our room had a scavenger hunt today then popcycles while Abe's room celebrated 3 birthdays. Dad helped my group and took a few of the photos we needed.  At closing time, all 350 of us underclassmen lined the hallway and honored the departing 5th graders as they marched thru and out the door of Rieke Elementary to their summer and their next school.

It was a neat day, I love the last day of school!   Then Dad gave us treats and 2 hours of mine craft time at his office to celebrate.

Trail Running

Koh: Abe and me get to go to some of Mom's races. While Mom is working, we run around on the trails. The official race photographer took this picture of me coming into the finish line.

Orienteering and Disk Golf today

We visited historic Champoeg State Park today and competed in a 2-hour orienteering event then played disk golf for another hour or so.  We found lots of snails and flowers and a baby bird we saved.

Happy Grandma's Day!

Aunt Angela and uncle Torrey took grandma out for a fancy lunch, and we got go along if we promised to dress up and behave.

Nonstop Weekends

We played soccer, rode bikes, shot hoops, played catch football and baseball, rode a train, mini golfed, shot guns at the oaks park gallery, went to church and it's only noon on Sunday.  What's next dad?

Beach treasures, more for adults than us

Litter patrol: today at our favorite beach (Willamette Park) we found a pack of cigarettes, beer cans and some pornographic photos. We handed them to dad "Dad look at these very inappropriate pictures...."  

Race for the STARS

Both boys set new PRs for laps at this year's school fund-raiser race. 

Easter Eggs

We love coloring Easter eggs. And then hunting for them again and again. 

I play Xylophone - did u know?

Koh: I learned this cool instrument and played it today at our school music performance.  I'm in the plaid shirt.  Plus I sing too!
