Our 1st Father's Day

Koh: For Daddy's first Father's Day, we did what he loves best - spent the day hiking together as a family. Grandma was even there. In fact, she led the hike for her hiking club, the Chemeketans. It was our longest hike yet, about 8 miles and we were all pretty tired when we finished.

Every morning Daddy leaves to go to work on his bike (this is the saddest part of the day for us). He needed a backpack to carry his work clothes and stuff, so Mommy helped us get one for him as a gift. We also picked out a book called The Dangerous Book for Boys. It has all kinds of fun stuff inside, like; how to make a bow and arrow, making crystals, cloud formations, secret inks, skipping stones, insects, fossils, building a go-cart, timers and tripwires, the Declaration of Independence, how to play stickball and lots more. We can't wait for Daddy to teach us everything, especially the chapter on girls!
